My best friend is my class - mate. Her name is Michaela (it is Michelle in English). She is of an average height, has longish straight hair which is sort of brown. HISTORY OF GREAT BRITAIN
The original British people were the Celts. They started to settle Britain from the 10th century B.C. The Celtic priests were called druids and they worshipped many gods. The Celtic language is still alive - for example in Wales.
In 55 B.C. the Roman expedition started. Julius Caesar came and named the island as Britannia according to one tribe of Celts - the Britons. Romans built many roads, baths and also Hadrian's wall to protect themselves from the attacks from the north.

Free time after work or study is called leisure time. It is the time for fun and entertainment. Going to the cinema, theatre, concerts, arts exhibitions are the most usual ways of spending free time. Some people especially the younger one, prefer going to parties, pubs, coffee bars, clubs and discos, others like to stay at home watching TV, reading book ...
